Al DeRogatis was born on 5 March 1927 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He was an actor, known for Heaven Can Wait (1978), The NFL on NBC (1965) and 1972 NFL Pro Bowl (1972). He died on 26 December 1995 in Spring Lake, New Jersey, USA.

Tackle with the New York Giants, 1949-1952. Career ended by an ankle injury at age 25.

Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1986.

Played center and tackle on Duke University&#39;s football team, 1945-1948.

Inducted into the Jersey Shore Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
