The son of Antônio de Oliveira Santos, Juca studied in São Roque and later moved to the state capital, where he enrolled in the Law School of the University of São Paulo. He also took a vocational test, which revealed his inclination to be an actor. This excited him so much that he learned about the existence of the São Paulo School of Dramatic Arts and enrolled there. However, it was only later that he gave up Law to dedicate himself to acting.

Juca de Oliveira was a Brazilian actor, director, writer, cattle rancher and playwright.

Throughout his eight-decade career, he stood out on television and as one of the leading names in the country's theatrical scene, accumulating several awards, such as a Troféu Imprensa , an APCA Award, and a Molière Award .
