- Richard DeNeut was born on November 30, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Second Childhood (1936), That Certain Woman (1937) and The Pinch Singer (1936). He died on January 25, 2016 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- He attended UCLA, where he staged a theater department talent show featuring Carol Burnett, a freshman who had partnered with him in an acting-class scene.
- In 1956, after Army service, he joined the staff of Globe Photos, eventually becoming West Coast bureau chief. He oversaw photography of celebrities at movie premieres, awards ceremonies, parties and nightclubs.
- He was recruited at age 4 from the ranks of the Meglin Kiddies. He was cast in six of Hal Roach's "Our Gang" comedies in the 1930s, including the series' only feature film, General Spanky (1936).
