Biography

Glória de Matos was born on May 30, 1936 in Lisbon, Portugal. She was an actress, known for The Fifth Empire (2004), Vila Faia (1982) and Operação Dinamite (1967). She was married to Henrique Mendes. She died on December 11, 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Also held positions of member of the High Authority for Social Communication and advisor to the Secretary of State for Culture and the Institute of Performing Arts.

Also was a professor at the National Conservatory's Theater School, and later at the Higher School of Theater and Cinema, as well as at the Open University.
