- Jeanne De Coen was born on November 2, 1884 in Mechelen, Flanders, Belgium. She was an actress, known for 't Is wreed in de wereld (1954), Boevenprinses (1956) and Min of meer (1955). She died on June 24, 1965 in Antwerpen, Flanders, Belgium.
- During the First World War she performed for soldiers in England.
- In 1918 she played with the theater company Vlaamsch Fronttoneel in the occupied territory, then for 40 years at the Royal Dutch Theater in Antwerp (Koninklijke Nederlandse Schouwburg).
