Natasha De Betak

  • Natasha started her career as Production Assistant on Madonna's feature documentary Truth or Dare (in Bed with Madonna).

    After a stint at Hungarian Film School in Budapest and NYU Film school in New York, Natasha went on to experiment with short fiction and documentaries. Her short fiction Kaal won her many international awards including the "Best Film".

    Natasha filmed an exceptional documentary in Moscow titled Vaudeville Du Diable which was telecast in France with great critical acclaims. She also directed a series of three documentary on filmmakers and their work titled Bon Plan: including Almodovar & Doillon.

    Natasha also works as Photographer and Costume Designer. She designed costumes for Pan Nalin's Samsara and Valley of Flowers. Besides Asia and Eastern Europe, Natasha has also widely traveled and researched - specially in Mexico for her forthcoming fiction project.

    She has recently completed Speaking Tree her first feature length documentary. The film was shot over the period of five years in remote desert district of Kutch, India.

    She speaks English, French, Spanish & Italian.
