W. Percy Day was born on September 19, 1878 in Luton, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Black Narcissus (1947), A Matter of Life and Death (1946) and The Fallen Idol (1948). He died on May 20, 1965 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Step father of Peter Ellenshaw.

Father of Arthur George Day and Thomas Sydney Day.

Headed the visual effects departments at Denham Studio for Alexander Korda and later at Shepperton Studios.
