Chris Dawson(I)

Began working as a Visual Effects Production Assistant in 1985 while still attending college at the Univerity of Southern California, School of Fine Arts. Graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting and Photography) degree in 1988. Experience is diverse in traditional VFX techniques as well as digital 2d and 3d applications. Worked at various Visual Effects facilities (staff and freelance)including Praxis Filmworks (freelance 1985-1990), Title House (staff 1988), Introvision (freelance 1989-1990, staff 1992-1993), Digital Domain (staff: 1993-1997, freelance currently), Warner Brothers Feature Animation Visual Effects (freelance 2002-2005) and Flash Filmworks (freelance 2005 - current). Works as Visual Effects Supervisor, Digital Compositor, Digital effects artist and 3d animator. Enjoys Karate and Aido. Enjoys and cooks Japanese cuisine. Enjoys and cooks good-ole-down-home Southern cooking too. Speaks some Japanese and French.
