Biography

Derna's primary claim to fame is her portrayal of the ultra-sexy secretary/assistant "Derna", employee of company president "Harvey" in 1978 cult film Planet of Dinosaurs. Her sultry performance in the role has earned her a cult fan following, from which a poem was written about her by Dr. Michael Delahoyde, an English professor at Washington State University. Delahoyde is a dinosaur film aficionado and cult film enthusiast, having several publications across many pop culture encyclopedia archives.

Derna is of Chinese-Caucasian descent.

Was formerly incarcerated in federal prison in the state of California. Details of arrest and sentencing are not currently known to the public. Filed an appeal in 1998 regarding sentencing that was dismissed by federal court. Derna was released from prison on an unspecified date and has lived in Henderson, Nevada since her release.
