- Investigative journalist for The Guardian, freelance writer, and documentary-maker. Not to be confused with another British journalist, Nicholas Davies (also known as Nick Davies), who worked for The Daily Mirror.
- If there's a big story breaking it's far more likely to be the Daily Mail that catches the new angle than The Guardian. On the other hand, The Guardian won't have done anything dodgy in the course of its work.
