Gwen Davies was born on June 19, 1922 in New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress and casting director, known for Open the Door and See All the People (1964), Matty's Funday Funnies (1959) and Vegetable Vaudeville (1951). She was married to Lawrence R. Greenhaus. She died on January 10, 2022 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA.

Gwen Davies began her career in 1930 at the age of six on the network radio children's radio show "Let's Pretend" and continued to perform on that program for more than 20 years. Too young to read at first, she had to memorize her lines.

Her uncle was the actor Gilbert Mack.
