Biography

Bob was a Professional Wildlife Photographer, who did work for Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, the National Audubon Society, various production companies and a number of feature films and documentaries on his own. He passed away December 1985. His legacy includes more than a million feet of motion picture film, vivid still photography, audio recordings and writings.

Life-cycle wildlife documentaries

He won an Emmy for Best Photography in the documentary: "The Life and Death of the Western Gladiator" - a 20 year life-cycle story of the Diamond Back Rattle Snake.

He was the first to get the birth of a mountain lion (cougar) on film in a natural setting.

He spent 3 years on Gunnison Island in the Great Salt Lake, recording the life-cycle story of the White Pelican.

He specialized in life-cycle stories of North American nature and wildlife, including the Bobcat, Coyote, White Pelican, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, and Diamond Back Rattlesnake.
