Biography

Lorena David is a Los Angeles-bred filmmaker who is a triple threat having produced, directed and edited multiple feature films, documentaries, short films and television shows. Having co-founded a film production company while still a student at UC San Diego, Lorena was primed to be a leader in filmmaking before she even hit Hollywood. Once there, she quickly met and forged a business partnership with Mark Roberts and together they were producers on 12 feature films, four of which Lorena directed.

When the recession hit the brakes on independent filmmaking, Lorena pivoted into editing reality shows as well as Executive Producing the car competition show "My Ride Rules" (26 episodes for SPEED) and the paranormal special "Ghostly Lovers" (Travel Channel).

Lorena's editing career took off and she has edited shows for SPIKE, E!, VH1, ABC Family, CNBC, SPEED, BRAVO, FoodNetwork, TLC and A&E.

As of 2020, she is developing a show about internet scambaiting starring YouTube personality Rosie Okumura. Meanwhile she is editing "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and "Beverly Hills" for BRAVO TV and hanging out with her bulldog Humphrey.

Lorena David Los Angeles-born filmmaker and all-around triple threat, Lorena David has produced, directed, and edited just about everything with a lens - from feature films and documentaries to hit TV shows. She co-founded her first production company while still in college, teamed up with producing partner Mark Roberts, and together cranked out 12 feature films (four of which she directed) before the recession made "independent" a little too independent.

Lorena then pivoted to TV, cutting for networks from Bravo to TLC and executive producing everything from high-octane car shows to ghost-hunting love stories. Recently, she returned to the director's chair for Great American Media's The Christmas Spark starring Mario Lopez - proving she's still got the magic... and the final cut.
