She taught at St. Ciprian&#39;s, Ordsall, Salford between 1953-1957.

Appears as the hotel cleaning lady in the music video for the 1983 hit song &quot;Wot&quot; by Captain Sensible, which also features a John Cleese/Basil Fawlty lookalike.

Davenport died alone in her London flat, her body remaining undiscovered for a couple of weeks.

Stopped working in the 1990s after a series of strokes.
