Biography

Edward J. Danziger was born on August 4, 1909 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a producer, known for Adventure Theater (1956), Satellite in the Sky (1956) and Devil Girl from Mars (1954). He died on March 5, 1999 in New York City, New York, USA.

Son-in-law of Eldon Howard.

At the end of World War II, he was head of the legal section, 2nd US Army headquarters. He was one of the prosecuting counsels in the wartime Nuremberg war crimes trials.

American producer. With his brother Harry formed New Elstree Studios on the outskirts of London, having purchased a large abandoned Shadow factory previously used to produce aircraft engines for the wartime Royal Air Force. They turned out literally hundreds of low budget second features of no more than 70 minutes length. According to actor Christopher Lee, if shooting of a picture went on for more than three days, the film would be well in excess of its budget!.
