- German actress and drama coach, trained under Olga Limburg and Ilka Grüning. Appeared as lead or second lead in films from 1929, though she remained primarily a stage actress. Dannhoff also provided the German dubbing voice for actresses Katharine Hepburn and Elizabeth Sellars. From 1966, she taught acting at the Max-Reinhardt-Schule für Schauspiel in Berlin.
