Biography

Greg Daniels was born on June 13, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for The Office (2005), Parks and Recreation (2009) and King of the Hill (1997). He has been married to Susanne Daniels since September 15, 1991. They have four children.

Attended Harvard University with fellow writer Conan O'Brien.

Brother-in-law of Paul Lieberstein and Warren Lieberstein.

Attended Phillips Exeter Academy, an independent college-preparatory school.

He was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Television at 6357 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on September 10, 2026. Fellow writer Conan O'Brien and Walk of Fame inductee Steve Carell were guest speakers at the ceremony.
