Biography

Nick Damici starred in the SyFy Channel's, Stake Land 2, a sequel to his lauded feature, Stake Land, of which he also wrote and garnered a vast cult following. Damici is likely best known for his breakout role in In The Cut (dir. Jane Campion) playing opposite Meg Ryan and Mark Ruffalo, to rave reviews at its premiere at The Toronto Film Festival.

Other cult favorites are his leading role in Mulberry Street (dir. Jim Mickle) and Adrian Garcia Bogliano's film, Late Phases, for which IndieWire pegged Damici as one of the "10 Actors to Watch Out for at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival."

Damici also starred in Eli Morgan Gesner's film Condemned as well as had supporting roles in Oliver Stone's, World Trade Center and David Keopp's, Premium Rush and Mand with Man, opposite Morgan Spector.

Television credits include recurring roles on both CSI: NY (CBS) and The Black Donnelleys (NBC), and guest starring roles in Life on Mars (ABC) and Law & Order (NBC).

As a writer, Damici co-created the neo-noir hit Hap and Leonard with Jim Mickle and is based on the series of books by the same name by Joe Lansdale.

Damici's first collaboration with Lansdale and director Jim Mickle was the hit feature film, Cold in July, which starred Michael C. Hall, Vinessa Shaw, Don Johnson and Sam Shepard and premiered to rave reviews, followed by a prominent sale as part of the dramatic feature competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
