Evelyn Dall was born on January 8, 1918 in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Time Flies (1944), The Playboy (1938) and Sing as You Swing (1937). She was married to Sam Winer and Albert Ernest Holmes. She died on March 10, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Took her stage name from the grandchildren of President Franklin Roosevelt.

First husband, the manager of the Bert Ambrose band, was a marriage of convenience to enable her to work in England. Evelyn also had a long-standing relationship with Ambrose.

Daughter of a Manhattan postal clerk.

American-born stage performer and vocalist, in Britain until 1946, and billed as the "Original Blonde Bombshell". Appeared on Broadway, at the Manhattan Music Hall and subsequently featured singing with Bert Ambrose and His Orchestra. Toured in Europe in 1934 as one of the 'Monte Carlo Follies'.

Children with Winter: Mary Lee (11 Oct. 1948) and Brian (29 June 1950).
