Has worked as a television journalist, announcer and co-anchor at CITY-TV in Toronto. He is also a prostate cancer survivor.

- On September 9, 2010, Dailey announced on air during his 11:00pm newscast on CityNews Tonight that he was suffering from kidney cancer on his left kidney. The cancer spread to his lungs, and thus ending his career.
