Dai Lin was born on 26 December 1934 in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. She was an actress, known for Les Belles (1961), Love Without End (1961) and Madame White Snake (1962). She was married to Shun-shing Lung. She died on 17 July 1964 in Hong Kong.
