- Attended Agoura High School (alma mater of Heather Graham) in California, and graduated in 1987. Served as senior class treasurer.
- She was cast as Stacy in Wayne's World (1992) and was even at the table-read, but dropped out when she was offered the lead role in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989). She was replaced by Lara Flynn Boyle.
- Auditioned for the role of Grace Adler on Will & Grace (1998-2006). Casting was narrowed down to Daggett and Debra Messing, who both tested in front of the network. Messing went on to win the role, but the creators of the show brought Daggett back for an episode, playing an actress portraying a version of Grace depicted in a stage play written by Jack (Sean Hayes). Daggett has never seen the episode and said, "I think I'm horrible in it. It's the worst work I've ever done, I'm pretty sure. As I was filming it I thought, 'This is bad.' I think I was so in my head about it.".
