Biography

She had a short career in France, particularly in Paris at the Théâtre de l'Ambigu in 1908, and during the 1910-1911 theatre season at the Nouveau-Théâtre in Lyon. The First World War put a stop to her career and after the end of the conflict, she would only have rare theatre engagements in France and Belgium, and only two film roles.

At the end of 1891, a certain Mrs. Dangély performed in a local revue at the Alcazar in Béziers. At the beginning of the following year, a Miss Dangély also played in a local revue at the Angoulême theatre where she was presented as an actress from the Porte-Saint-Martin theatre.

She was a Belgian theatre and film actress.

Apart from the roles she played over the course of thirty years in both theatre and cinema, practically nothing is known about Nadia d'Angely.

After a very last appearance on stage in Caen in March 1926 where she was presented as an artist of the Ambigu theatre, Nadia d'Angely disappeared from the posters and fell into oblivion.
