Barbara Turner was born on July 14, 1936 in New York, New York, USA. She was an actress and writer, known for Cujo (1983), Pollock (2000) and Hemingway & Gellhorn (2012). She was married to Reza Badiyi and Vic Morrow. She died on April 5, 2016 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

She attended the University of Texas, then returned to New York to study acting, first at the Dramatic Workshop and later with Paul Mann. In the late 1950s, she moved to Hollywood, where she began acting in theater and on television series.
