- Mike Curb was born on December 24, 1944 in Savannah, Georgia, USA. He is a producer and composer, known for Dirty Dancing (1987), Kelly's Heroes (1970) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). He has been married to Linda Dunphy Curb since April 4, 1978. They have two children.

- While serving as the Republican Lt. Governor of California (1979-1983), he gained notoriety after rushing to the capital to appoint several judges while then Gov. Jerry Brown (a Democrat) was out of California air space. The appointments were voided upon Brown's return.
