James Culshaw

Born in Liverpool, England, James's father was a merchant seaman who lived in New York for several years after bumping into his first cousin, Billy Washington, whose daughter was the late actor Patrica Hardy, married to late actor Richard Egan. On returning to Liverpool, he met James's mother Anastasia. James has four sisters and one brother, but sadly lost a younger sister Shirley Marie in her twenties to a heart condition at Christmas 1983 whilst his parents were visiting relatives in Australia, and he was performing in 'The Land of Oz' as the Tin Woodman.
