Mariann Csernus was born on October 30, 1928 in Budapest, Hungary. She was an actress, known for Hattyúdal (1964), Elveszett paradicsom (1962) and Megszállottak (1962). She died on July 1, 2026.

Acclaimed Hungarian stage actress.

Author of three books: Eszterlánc (1985), Ki voltál lányom (1993), Csillagszóró (2002. Also, she was the Hungarian translator of Liv Ullmann's autobiography 'Changing'.
