- In 2002 Paul's documentary West End Story, which he wrote, directed and produced won Best Music Documentary at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
- The feature film Severe Visibility which Paul wrote, directed, starred in and produced was nominated Best North American Film at the Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival 2007 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- In 2014 Paul's novel A Counterfeit Priest, based on his screenplay by the same title was published.
- The documentary, Follow the Leader, which Paul, wrote, directed and produced won Best Documentary at the Atlantic City Film & Music Festival 2002.
