- Nicole Croisille was born on October 9, 1936 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France. She was an actress, known for The Bourne Identity (2002), The Gilded Cage (2013) and Les Misérables (1995). She died on June 4, 2025 in Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine, France.

- A very young entry in the entertainment world, Nicole Croisille began to sing in the cellars of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where she did not meet the expected success. She went to the United States in 1964 where she led the magazine of the Folies-Bergère.
- She left for the United States in 1964 where she led the Folies-Bergère revue. Upon her return, she met Claude Lelouch who was finishing filming A Man and a Woman . He introduced her to Francis Lai, who composed the music for the film. She would be the female interpreter and notably sang the famous "Dabadabada"(Nouvelle fenêtre) which has gone down in history.
