Biography

William T. Crespinel was born on July 9, 1890 in Weymouth, England, UK. He was a cinematographer and producer, known for The Glorious Adventure (1922), Death Valley (1946) and Wildfire (1945). He was married to Rosoamond. He died on June 19, 1987 in Laguna Beach, California, USA.

He was survived by a daughter, Kathleen McCandless of North Hollywood, CA; a son, Bill Crespinel of Manhattan, and two grandchildren.

Owner of Cinecolor, a company that developed a process for motion-picture color film that was popular with lower-budget producers and studios, as it was significantly cheaper than Technicolor and Deluxe.
