Biography

Anne Crawford was born on November 22, 1920 in Haifa, Palestine [now Israel]. She was an actress, known for The Peterville Diamond (1943), Knights of the Round Table (1953) and The Hundred Pound Window (1944). She was married to Wallace Douglas and James Hartley. She died on October 17, 1956 in London, England, UK.

At the time of her death, she was appearing in the play "The Spider's Web", at the Savoy Theatre, London. Co-stars attending her funeral included Margaret Lockwood, Patrick Barr, and Ronald Howard.
