Suzi Crandall was born on May 3, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was an actress, known for Mark of the Lash (1948), That Way with Women (1947) and Johnny Midnight (1960). She died in 2012 in Santa Barbara, California, USA.

American actress and model. Born Bette Brunk, she was voted Miss Chicago in 1942 and also became runner-up in the Miss America contest. In addition, she was a 1942 Swim Award winner. Later, she changed her name to Suzi Crandall and began acting in films from 1946, for a while under contract to Selznick and to Warner Brothers. In June 1948, she married airfield operator Benjamin F. Hitchens. She was last heard from teaching modelling in 1964.
