Prior to his move to Marietta, Georgia, Robin Cowie was educated at
Highbury Preparatory School in Hillcrest, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa
and then at Kearsney College, Botha's Hill, Kwazulu-Natal, South
Africa. He played the part of Fat Sam in Kearsney's 1986 production of
"Bugsy Malone". He was captain of Kearsney's Under 15A Basketball team
prior to his departure for the USA in 1987.
