Biography

Laerte was born on June 10, 1951 in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. She is a writer and actress, known for A Cidade dos Piratas (2018), Overman (2026) and Love Is All (2011).

She is most well known for her Piratas do Tietê comic book series, as well as Los Três Amigos, a collaborative comic strip she worked on as part of the underground comics scene of the '80s along with Angeli, Glauco and later Adão Iturrusgarai.
