Biography

Pierre Couderc was born on November 18, 1896 in Paris, France. He was a producer and writer, known for Captain Thunder (1930), La piste des géants (1931) and That's My Daddy (1927). He died on October 6, 1966 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

He apparently worked his way across the ocean as a cabin boy on a liner. These cabin boys were known as "spirous" and were the basis of the character of the same name.
