- Ileana Cotrubas was born on June 9, 1939 in Galati, Romania. She is an actress, known for Les contes d'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffmann) (1981), La Bohème (1998) and The Metropolitan Opera Presents (1977). She has been married to Manfred Ramin since 1972.
