- Lloyd Corrigan was born on October 16, 1900 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), The Manchurian Candidate (1962) and The Chase (1946). He died on November 5, 1969 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Played bit parts in silent cinema, before switching his attention to writing (1926-30) and directing (particularly mysteries, 1930-38). Thereafter, he returned to acting and was especially noteworthy in the recurring part of a perpetually befuddled millionaire in Columbia's 'Boston Blackie' series. Also occasionally popped up in villainous roles and was a frequent television actor from 1954.
