Biography

Francis Corby was born on June 23, 1893 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Francis was a director and cinematographer, known for His Girl Friend (1926), A Haunted Heiress (1926) and The Bohemian Girl (1936). Francis was married to Ellen Corby and Dorothy Seastrom. Francis died on August 5, 1960 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He married script assistant Ellen Hansen who would later gain fame as actress Ellen Corby, probably best known as Grandma Walton on The Waltons (1972).
