Adam Cooper was born on July 22, 1971 in London, England, UK. He is an actor, known for Billy Elliot (2000), Jason and the Argonauts (2000) and Great Performances (1971). He has been married to Sarah Wildor since August 2000.

Danced with Royal Ballet 1989-1997 (Principal from 94) and with Adventures in Motion Pictures

Was nominated for Broadway's 1999 Tony Award as Best Actor (Musical) for "Swan Lake."

He was awarded the 1997 Drama Logue Award for Performance for "Swan Lake" in the Center Theatre Group production at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

He was nominated for a 1999 Antoinette Perry (Tony) Award for Best Actor in a Musical for "Cinderella," on Broadway in New York City.
