Joe Cook is a German-American actor based in Germany and Los Angeles, fluent in both German and
English.
Born in Bensheim, Germany, he trained in Hollywood in the 1990s at the Janet Alhanti Acting Studios and
appeared in American studio productions including the Warner Bros. thriller Executive Decision (1996) with
Kurt Russell and Steven Seagal, and the sci-fi action film Digital Man (1995). A SAG-AFTRA member and
US Green Card holder, he has worked across both American and European productions throughout his
career.
His most recent work includes the lead role of Jett Rivers in the Western feature What the River Took
(2026).
Cook specializes in authority figures, investigators, and physically grounded characters - combining a
commanding screen presence with a controlled, precise performance style. He is represented in Los
