Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Rod Coneybeare was born on 31 March 1930 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He was an actor and writer, known for Purple Playhouse (1973), Matinee Theatre (1955) and Folio (1955). He was married to Moira. He died on 5 September 2019 in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada.

He started out on a CBC radio show and sold a radio script to NBC. He worked at various Ontario radio stations, supplementing his income with work in the theater.

He was also Rusy the rooster in Friendly Giant and would do both voices in a dialogue.
