Biography

Timothy Combe was born on October 17, 1936 in Guildford, Surrey, England, UK. He is a director, known for Doctor Who (1963), Going to Work (1961) and Z Cars (1962). He has been married to Angela Ellison since 1965. They have five children.

He attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

A regular director of BBC television drama in the 1970s, he gave it up and became an actors' agent instead. Among those he was agent for was Roy Purcell, whom he had directed in The Mind of Evil: Episode One (1971).
