Mike Colwell literally grew up on a set. From a young age, Mike could
be found on a set with his father, Chuck Colwell, an established
Cinematographer (The Terminator, Hulk Series, The Fall Guy, etc.). With
a love for the business himself, Mike worked his way up the ranks and
worked for several years as a highly accredited Key Grip and was
simulanteously given "B" camera and Second Unit opportunites as an
operator. Eventually Mike was rewarded for his efforts as an operator
and his experience as a Key Grip gives him the well-rounded knowledge
of the industry and mechanics of the set. He excels at action
photography and hand-held photography.
