Biography

Mary Colquhoun was born on November 11, 1940 in London, England, UK. She was a casting director, known for After Hours (1985), Glory (1989) and The Shadow (1994). She died on September 10, 2000 in New York City, New York, USA.

Colquhoun was highly respected for casting motion pictures, Television films, Television Specials as well as Broadway plays. She received 1st EMMY in 1993 for casting the HBO Telefilm CITIZEN COHN, and her 2nd EMMY in 1996 for casting the HBO program "TRUMAN". She earned the Hoyt Bowers award for lifetime achievement in casting from the Casting Society of America.

She is survived by a sister, Christina Burke; a brother, Patrick Burke; a niece, Tawny Wagner; and three nephews, Toby Wagner, Matthew Burke and Laurence Burke. All live in England.
