Biography

Eddie Collins was born on January 30, 1883 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was an actor, known for The Blue Bird (1940), Quick Millions (1939) and Young Mr. Lincoln (1939). He was married to Florence Wilmot (actress) and Sarah Elizabeth Baldwin. He died on September 2, 1940 in Arcadia, California, USA.

Perhaps best remembered as Shirley Temple's "dog" Tylo in The Blue Bird (1940).

Performed the voice of 'Dopey' in the Walt Disney animated film classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).

Vaudeville-veteran comic who appeared in US films only from 1938.

He died only seventeen days after the release of The Return of Frank James (1940).
