Biography

Myron Cohen was born on July 1, 1902 in Grodno, Poland, Russian Empire [now Hrodna, Belarus]. He was an actor and writer, known for On Location: Myron Cohen Revisited (1978), On Location: Myron Cohen (1976) and When Nature Calls (1985). He was married to Miriam Hyman. He died on March 10, 1986 in Nyack, New York, USA.

At the height of his talk show popularity, Cohen issued two comedy albums on RCA Victor, "Everybody Got to Be Someplace" (1966) and "That's Not a Question" (1967).

Former traveling salesman turned raconteur, he was a popular figure on the TV talk show circuit during the 1960s and early-to-mid 1970s, where he told the many anecdotes he'd collected over a lifetime on the road.
