- Jane Clifton was born on April 10, 1949 in Gibraltar. She is an actress, known for Prisoner (1979), As Time Goes By (1988) and Lost Gully Road (2017).
- Born in Gibraltar to British parents and emigrated to Australia in 1961.
- Was lead vocalist with late 1970s band Stiletto (cowriting their 1978 single "Goodbye, Johnny"); also a vocalist with Joe Camilleri's Jo Jo Zep in the early 1980s. Other bands she has worked with include Scumbag, Toads and Lipp and the Double Dekker Brothers.
- In 2009 she became a registered civil marriage celebrant, officiating at weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, and vow renewals.
- Has had two solo art exhibitions at Marios' Café in Fitzroy, Melbourne - first opening on April 9th 2024, then from February 11th 2025.
- Enrolled at Monash University in 1968, graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on creative arts and English.
