Biography

Hubert Clifford was born on May 31, 1904 in Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. He was a composer, known for Win Win (2011), The Fallen Idol (1948) and Happily (2021). He died on September 4, 1959 in Singapore.

Emigrated to England in 1930 and began his association with the BBC in 1941, where he later became Head of Light Music Programmes

In the 1940's, served as Musical Director for Alexander Korda's London Films.

Composer and conductor. Studied at the Melbourne Conservatory of Music and the Royal College of Music in London.
