Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Anna Maria is an award winning Director, Writer, Actor, and Producer in New York.

Most recently, Anna has played a co-star role in the CBS series East New York, episode 17, Pound of Flesh, opposite Richard Kind.

She can be seen in the role of Queen Gertrude of Denmark in the feature film adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet. The multi-award-winning "Hamlet/Horatio" (2021) is now streaming on Apple Tv (iTunes) - Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google Play, and Tubi. Anna solo-created short "33 Breaths" was a finalist of the 2020 Single-Take Challenge.

Her film, "Stay" received a Special Mention from the Ouchy Film Awards Winter 2016.

Anna produced, co-wrote, and coached the actors on set of "Life After Her." The film screened at the Short Corner of the Cannes Film Festival and won seven awards.

She received a Nomination for Best Actress from the International Festival of Cinema and Technology and played a principal role in "Stealing Chanel," a feature directed by Roberto Mitrotti, distributed by Lifetime Network.

Anna was honored by Sanford Meisner with the exclusive rights to edit the Italian edition of "Sanford Meisner On Acting" - "La recitazione."

Her work as Theater Director and Actor has been seen in New York at: The Kitchen - for a BAM Event; Vanderbilt Hall of Grand Central Station; Joyce Soho; St. Peter's Church; American Museum of Natural History; Theater for the New City; The Players Club. Collaborations staged with Domenica Cameron-Scorsese; Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon; Susan Batson, Brian Dennehy, and Roberto Benigni.

Anna Co-Produced "Tribeca in Rome" - a cultural partnership between the Tribeca Film Festival and the Rome Film Festival 's first edition- including the Steps and Stars Award received by Robert De Niro.

As an Acting Coach, she consulted with Domenica Cameron-Scorsese, Alessandra Mastronardi, Kick Kennedy, Martina Ferragamo, and Santigold. She was the on-set Acting Coach of "Yelo," a short film directed by Adrien Boublil (Cannes 2013.)

Anna is a member of the Senior Faculty of The Acting Studio, New York, Inc. and of the New York Film Academy. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Film MFA Program, and at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
