Biography

John Ciambotti was born on September 6, 1942 in Mill Valley, California, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for Jim Lauderdale - Lucky 13 (1989), Dead Connection (1994) and F.T.W. (1994). He died on March 24, 2010 in Glendale, California, USA.

Received his doctorate in chiropractic medicine from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1989.

Besides being a bass player for singer Elvis Costello on his debut album, he also performed with such artists as Lucinda Williams, John Prine and Carlene Carter.

Father of Gia Ciambotti.

Later became a chiropractor specializing in musicians' injuries.

Bass player for the rock band Clover, which backed Elvis Costello on his debut album.
